Your Next Car Could Be From An Auction

Many new car dealers don’t deal in used cars. They take their part exchange vehicles to well organized auto auctions and get rid of them wholesale. That way they can get back the money that was parted out on the new car they sold without worrying about refurbishing and guaranteeing these vehicles. In turn pre-owned car dealers go to these auctions looking for mint condition cars that they can freshen up and re-sell back on the dealer lots.

The cars are bought as-is but the buyers get to thoroughly inspect each car offered for auction. Many bring mechanics and drivers who inspect the vehicles, test drive them and evaluate their worth before the bidding begins. They take their spoils back to the lot and detail their appearance, repair or replace any defects and are then able to provide their customers with shiny bright well working pre-owned cars at a reasonable price.

A used car dealer who sells cars to you that were obtained this way has a better chance of getting you the car you want in a known condition at a great price than those who rely on getting their stock from part exchange vehicles that they take in themselves. They don’t have a chance to inspect those or know the repair history like they do with cars they acquire at auction.
